Precision Tile is a Lehigh Valley-based ceramic tile installer currently looking to hire experienced, full-time tile setters, finishers and laborers for commercial and residential tile work.
If you are currently laid-off but expect to return to your full-time employer, there might be an opportunity for short-term work.
Weekends-only and/or Nigths-only shifts are occasionally available.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIERMENTS – ALL POSTIONS
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Most work is local, but some travel is required
- All work is inside of a 60-mile radius
- Additional compensation paid for travel between 30-60 miles
A normal shift is 7:00 am — 3:30 pm, Monday — Friday
- Overtime is regularly available and occasionally mandated
Like all construction trades, tile is a physically demanding job. You must be able to:
- Climb ladders or scaffolding
- Work on your feet for many hours/day
- Work on your hands and knees for many hours/day
- Lift and carry heavy object repetitively

- Education and training are ongoing. Employees with little or no experience but, who demonstrate the necessary skills, will be trained to become tile setters with salary increases at every level
SALARY – ALL POSITIONS
Regardless of your job title, salary is based on experience in the tile industry.
General Laborers: $16-$18/hr.
- Applicants with little or no construction experience are welcome to apply
- Training and salary increases can be swift
Tile Finishers/Helpers/Grouters: $20-$22/hr.
- Applicants must have prior experience in the tile industry.
- You will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in grouting, cutting tile, and installing substrates (cement board, mat, waterproofing)
Tile Installers: $24/hr. and up
- This is a broad category. There is a big difference between someone who can set a backsplash or a small bathroom floor and someone with 20+ years of experience as a commercial tile setter
- Salary will commensurate with experience
- Proficience in installing mud shower pans is a MINIMUM requirement
